Challenge
Budget, schedule and Built Green requirements were all constraints that guided the creative process of this showcase home. The design aesthetic needed to push the boundaries for residential design in Spokane, yet still be embraced by local residents.
Solution
A natural finish palette offset with punches of bold color provide a fresh and contemporary yet warm space. Design details were focused in areas where they received the most “punch” so that money could be utilized on other features of the home, such as solar panels. This home is winner of the 2010 Spokane Home Builders Association Showcase of Green Homes Best Interior Design and Best Master Suite.
