Challenge

The small footprint was both a constraint and source of inspiration for the design of this upscale cosmopolitan martini bar.  The bar’s inspiration was a result of the owners visit to the Italian town of Bistango, “a little piece of heaven”.   

Solution

Design of the space incorporated ceiling clouds with cut outs to provide glimpses of a fiber optic starlit ceiling above.  The narrow space features a bar that terminates with a glistening flow of water over amber colored glass tile. The waterfall enhances the cozy yet dramatic ambiance. Specialty lighting throughout the space, including the bar top, help set the mood for an intimate atmosphere in the heart of a bustling downtown core.
